(1)BOJ to watch emerging economies
Bank of Japan policymakers last month confirmed the importance of closely monitoring effects from slowing growth in emerging economies, including China, on the global economy.
The fall in Chinese stock prices led to a global stock market rout. Policy Board members agreed that the Chinese economy had slowed somewhat, chiefly in its manufacturing sector.
But Board members shared the view that the Chinese economy was likely to follow a generally stable growth path as authorities carried out policy measures to support economic activity.
Policy Board members agreed that Japan’s export and production had recently1been more or less flat due chiefly to effects from the slowdown in emerging economies.
But board members shared the recognition that the Japanese economy was likely to continue recovering moderately thanks to a positive attitude toward investment and resilient private consumption(Japan News by The Yomiuri Shimbun).

中国の株価の下落は、国際的な株式市場の混乱を招いた。中国経済は、主に製造業部門で多少停滞していると、政策委員は合意した。
しかし、当局が経済活動を支える政策手段を実施したので中国経済は一般に安定成長となりそうだという見解を、政策委員は共有した。
日本の輸出と生産は、主に新興国経済の停滞のために最近多かれ少なかれ低迷しているということで、政策委員は合意した。
